In this Dissertation Consists of Five Chapters. The first chapter that the reader may grasp the roles of latent tendency and its controversial issues. The Second chapter provides a focus centered to the related terms with the latent tendency to advance our investigations, In the third and chapters, a deeper and wider survey on latent tendency from the perspective of ' Suttanata and Abhidhamma' are Scrutinized respectively. The last chapter pays due attention on how to overcome the latent tendency whilst the conclusion section gives the complete and final solutions to comprehend the latent tendency from the ' Theravāda ' Standpoint.
