The Book of the Discipline, Vol. III is the last volume of Suttavibhanga. It covers vol. iv of Oldenberg’s edition of the Vinayapiṭakaṃ, p. 124 to the end. This volume concludes the Suttavibhaṅga, focusing on the comprehensive inclusion of rules for nuns and emphasizing the detailed structure of the monastic discipline. The contents are divided into three sections. The first section is an introduction, summarizing the earlier rules and setting the context for the concluding sections.
